Injustice here, injustice there,
Injustice everywhere!
But do I stand up against it?
No, I turn the other way.
I cower in fear,
Hide behind the norms,
I let injustice happen,
Just like everyone else.
Even when it tears me apart,
I swallow my guilt,
Kill my morality,
And run the other way.
I superglue my eyes shut,
Unhear the heart wrenching cries.
But all this for what?
To live a normal life?
I’m a coward.
Courage, I lack.
So, to all who dare stand up,
Here’s my salute!
